The Denmark Embassy in India, along with Danish Agriculture and Food Council, Trade Council in South Asia, and Food Nation Denmark is organizing a webinar with a focus on the grain value chain in India on June 16.
The webinar will cover a wide range of issues including the current market situation and challenges to be aware of when operating on the Indian market with a focus on the grain value chain and insight on how consumers and decision-makers in Indian agriculture and food companies view sustainability of Danish products and solutions.
The webinar will share the Hands-on experience and advise on how to adapt to the Indian market with an increased focus on sustainability with a focus on the grain value chain from the experts.
The webinar is free of charge and aimed at Danish exporting and export-ready companies within the agriculture and food sector.

The key speakers at the webinar include Danish Ambassador to India, H.E. Freddy Svane, Sector Expert in Agriculture and Food at Embassy of Denmark in India, Ashish Paliwal, Senior Consultant at Danish Agriculture and Food Council, Julie Lykke Jacobsen, CEO of Baltic Control, Karina Engstrøm Nielsen, General Manager of FOSS India, Bharat Aswani and CEO of Food Nation Denmark, Lise Christiansen Walbom.
India is one of the largest grain producers in the world. India is also the second-most populous country worldwide, and the agricultural sector is the second biggest in the country accounting for more than 50% of the jobs. Grain production has a very high share in total agriculture production.
