‘Har Ghar Tiranga’- India’s unique campaign binds the nation in one thread

‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Abhiyan ( Flag in every house campaign) sees high enthusiasm from citizens who are recording their participation in this momentous occasion through various noble initiatives such as hoisting flags in their homes, changing their social media accounts DP to the Tricolour and uploading their photos with the Tricolour.

The country is celebrating the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Abhiyan ( Flag in every house campaign) on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The movement which began on August 13 will continue till August 15, the independence day of India.

PM urged all X (formerly Twitter) users, to change the display picture (DP) of their social media accounts to the Tricolour.

“In the spirit of the #HarGharTiranga movement, let us change the DP of our social media accounts and extend support to this
unique effort which will deepen the bond between our beloved country and us” said PM Modi.

He has also urged people to upload their photos with the Tricolour on www.harghartiranga.com. Citizens can get featured in Digital Tiranga Art by uploading a selfie with a flag.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah kicked off the Tiranga Yatra in Ahmedabad.

Also, Jammu and Kashmir which once was a turbulent state is now on the path of peace as the campaign Tiranga Yatra drew high participation from the common masses. The campaign was kicked off by the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha.

The government is taking many steps for the successful campaign which also includes its effort to distribute flags through its 1.6 lakh branches across the country. People can collect the flags by visiting the post offices near them. Also, citizens can get flags through the facility of the e-post office.

Last year post offices played a crucial role in making the campaign successful by making flags available in even the remotest part of the country.
