SelectUSA Investment Summit to attract global participants

The US is organizing four day SelectUSA Investment Summit from June 23, 2024 in National Harbor, Maryland to facilitate business investment by connecting thousands of investors, companies, economic development organizations (EDOs), and industry experts to make deals happen.

Hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Investment Summit is a one-stop shop for companies considering expanding to the United States and provides economic development organizations (EDOs) with the opportunity to meet directly with international companies to facilitate investment deals.

Some of the agendas for the event include: FDI from the Middle East and Africa into the United States: Data Dive and Global Trends, Expanding Your Presence in the U.S, The Energy Industry, How to Structure Your Business in the U.S, Know Before You Go – Advice and Lessons Learned for New Investors, FDI from the Western Hemisphere: Data Dive and Global Trends, Women in Manufacturing, and Clean Energy Funding Opportunities Through the Inflation Reduction Act.

The registration for the event has already started from November 1 last year. The registration rates for the event are as under

Early Bird Rate USD $1,100.00: Apply by 11:59 p.m. ET, March 15, 2024
Regular Rate USD $1,290.00: Begins March 16, 2024
Onsite Rate USD $1,440.00: June 22-June 26, 2024

Since inception, SelectUSA Investment Summits have attracted thousands of international companies and economic development representatives generating over $98 billion in new investment projects supporting more than 81,000 jobs across the United States and its territories.

The previous SelectUSA Investment Summit saw record-breaking numbers with more than 4,900 participants, including EDO representatives from 55 U.S. states and territories and over 2,300 business investors from 83 international markets.
