The US embassy has been taking many efforts to boost relations with India as a part of which Nexus its innovation hub and a business incubator housed at the American Center has graduated over 206 startups from its incubation program which has created thousands of jobs in India.
“Nexus at the American Center has graduated over 206 startups from its incubation program. These startups have created several thousand jobs in India and have also done over a hundred business deals with prominent U.S. companies,” said the US embassy.
Nexus is a collaboration between the American Embassy, New Delhi, and ACIR to showcase the best of American and Indian Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Technology Commercialization.
Nexus has partnered with some of the biggest names in the Indian ecosystem such as IAN, TiE, FICCI, Startup India, AMCHAM India, and USAID to help create a world-class network for Indian startups and entrepreneurs
The incubation hub brings together a pool of international and national experts, mentors, government agencies, venture capitalists, angel investors, and other stakeholders to provide Indian startups unparalleled access to the tools, talent, and funding needed for success.
“What sets Nexus apart is that they deliver. They provided connections with relevant stakeholders which accelerated our growth,” says one of the beneficiaries of the program.
Nexus’ mission is to foster a strong Indian startup ecosystem by providing a platform where different stakeholders can engage with startups to help them succeed. Through its multi-week pre-incubation program, Nexus prepares startups to successfully enter the market and scale up their business.
